Welcome to the Teen Youth Group at First Baptist Church of Lake Orion! We are 7th-12th grade students who want to encourage and help one another please our Lord Jesus Christ. We do that by regularly getting together for Bible study and group activities. These times give us an opportunity to help each other learn more about our great God from His Word, the Bible, and also give us an outlet to enjoy each other’s company. We have a lot of fun together!

Really, though, the fun we have is just a byproduct of a group of teens who are committed to living out the truth of God’s Word in their lives. We certainly aren’t perfect, but we are trying to live in such a way so that others can see Christ living through us. What we say, what we do, where we go, how we think, how we relate to others—all of these say something to those who see us about whether or not we really believe what we say the Bible teaches about our God. Life is not about us, it’s about Him. And yet, those who have a personal relationship with Him through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone find that they are most satisfied in life when they choose to please God.
