We want you to know that you are always welcome at Cornerstone, a ministry of First Baptist Church of Lake Orion.

Cornerstone is a friendly, transparent group of college and early career aged single men and women who love God and are being changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. We meet every week and have a full calendar of activities.

There are over 250,000 single adults in Oakland County, and Cornerstone is trying to reach them with the good news that Jesus Christ has given to us in the Bible. It is our prayer that the name of the one true and living God would be made famous in Oakland County and beyond!

Our meetings are designed to help single adults experience a personal relationship with God and grow in their experiential knowledge of God and the Bible. Cornerstone meets on Fridays @ 6:30 pm for a time of fellowship, worship, and Bible study. This is often followed by a time of fellowship at a member's home or at a local restaurant. We also meet on Sundays at 9:15 am; this is when we again enjoy engaging fellowship (and coffee and donuts!), relevant life-changing bible study, and often a time of small group prayer.

We are praying that Cornerstone will be 'the place' for young single adults to come, explore, and grow in faith. We intend to deal with issues that affect our lives and our generation. Do not expect a lot of empty rhetoric or meaningless messages; expect real answers, real communication, and life-changing friendships!

We hope that you will come and join us in lifting high the name of Jesus Christ to a lost and lonely generation of young adults who are searching for real meaning in life. We want Cornerstone to be a place that is filled with excitement, transparency, and true fellowship. This is our vision for the future and we are excited about what God is doing in and through us!
